Tickets are still available for a chance at winning the St. Jude’s Dream House constructed in honor of Murfreesboro resident Ally Cameron.
The goal of the 2008 St. Jude Dream Home campaign is to raise $1.6 million for the internationally known research hospital dedicated to finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
The home located in Westhaven, a Franklin community developed by Southern Land Co., is valued at $650,000. Tickets are $100.
The campaign ends on Sunday, but until then tickets can be purchased at www.stjudedreamhome.org or by calling 1-800-746-6713.
Allison Cooke, a spokesperson for Southern Land Co., said when all tickets are sold the Middle Tennessee St. Jude Dream Home campaign will be the largest in the country.
Instead of being built in memory of a St. Jude patient, she said the Middle Tennessee Dream Home was dedicated to a child whose disease is in remission.
Cameron, 4, has been in remission from neuroblastoma for three years. She will be considered cancer free when in remission for five years.
“She is doing really well,” Cooke said.
