“When we decided to create Arts on the Lawn, we wanted to put on a program that would be sustainable for many years to come,” said Mary Day, marketing director for Tucker Hill. “This is our second year, and our first year with a growing neighborhood of residents who have now called Tucker Hill home. We anticipate a good crowd, and we hope that anyone and everyone interested in supporting the local arts will join us this coming Labor Day weekend.”

New acts will be added to the program in the coming weeks. Please visit www.tuckerhilltx.com for a consistently updated list of performers.

“The McKinney Performing Arts Center is grateful for community partners such as Tucker Hill,” said David Taylor, director of the Art Center. “It’s support of a vibrant community inclusive of the arts is reflective in its aesthetic as well as its activities. We look forward to connecting families to the arts groups of McKinney and enjoying a wonderful evening of music, song and dance while picnicking under the stars.”
